Trader Exit Skill for Claude

Set a stop, target and end time for a proposed trade before sizing it.

Install Day Trader Skill

Day Trader Skill is the author's GitHub project, not a skill preinstalled in Claude. This command opens its third-party plugin installation in Claude Code.

/plugin install day-trader-skill --marketplace https://github.com/Jakeschincariol/day-trader-skill.git

Confirm the GitHub source and installation scope in Claude Code. Installing the pack does not run Trader Exit.

Use with Claude

Copy and send after installation

Use Trader Exit to plan a paper trade from my saved entry. Show the entry, how the stop is chosen, the stop price, risk per share, a 1R target, and the New York flat-by time. Ask for missing setup details before calculating. Do not place an order or describe the planned stop as a guaranteed fill.

1R is a target one planned risk distance above the entry for a long trade. Claude should ask for missing entry information.

Example Claude response

Illustrative · based on the source project's dated example

Oct 19, 2026 · TSLA historical plan

Exit plan · TSLA · historical example
Entry $364.18; stop $358.32 at the opening-range midpoint.
Planned risk: $364.18 − $358.32 = $5.86 per share.
1R target: $370.04. Flat by 3:55 p.m. New York time.

This example chooses 1R. The source tool can use other targets, including a 2R default; a target price is not a probability.

What it does

FieldExplanation

Stop method

Range midpoint, range low, a supplied price, percent or ATR-based distance.

Risk distance

Entry minus stop for a long share trade, shown per share.

Target

A chosen R multiple or price derived from the same plan.

End time

A flat-by time so the plan does not assume an overnight hold.

For a long trade, a stop at or above entry, a target at or below entry, or an overly tight stop needs a clear explanation rather than an invented plan.

Limits & sources

What the result can confirm

The planned stop, target, risk distance and time rule used for this setup.

What it cannot confirm

That a stop order will fill at that price or that the target will be reached.

Gaps, volatility and liquidity can make fills worse than the plan. Flat-by is a planned time, not an automatic closing action on this website.
