Trader Time Machine Skill for Claude
Explore how a saved trade plan behaves in simulated paths and past matching sessions.
Install Day Trader Skill
Day Trader Skill is the author's GitHub project, not a skill preinstalled in Claude. This command opens its third-party plugin installation in Claude Code.

Use Trader Time Machine on my saved paper-trade plan. Show the simulated target-first, stop-first and neither outcomes, then show the separate count of real past sessions where the same setup fired. Label each denominator, data window and sample size. Ask for a missing plan or data instead of inventing odds. Do not call the result a prediction.Simulated paths and historical occurrences answer different questions. If the plan or data is missing, Claude should explain the gap rather than produce odds.
Example Claude response
Illustrative · based on the source project's dated example
Oct 19, 2026 · TSLA plan · 59-session source window
10,000 simulated paths: target first 29.4%; stop first 25.5%; neither by close 45.1%.
59 real prior sessions: the rule fired 33 times; 13 reached target first, 15 stop first, 5 neither.
These are results for this historical setup, not tomorrow's probabilities.
59 is the number of prior sessions and 33 is the count of rule occurrences. Do not add 10,000 resampled paths to those 33 real occurrences.

| Field | Explanation |
|---|---|
The plan | The saved entry, stop, target and time remaining in the session. |
Simulated paths | 10,000 resampled continuations from recent five-minute bars. |
Past setups | Sessions where the same stated rule actually fired in the source window. |
The outcome | Target first, stop first or neither, each with its own denominator. |
Neither means neither side was reached first by the specified close; it is not automatically a profit or loss. A simulated green outcome is not the same as target first.

What the result can confirm
How this saved plan behaved under the stated resampling method and past-session rule.
What it cannot confirm
Tomorrow's odds, a strategy edge, or that unseen events are represented.
Resampling cannot include unseen earnings shocks, halts or market structure changes. Issue #19 is a user report about simulated odds after a historical trade was already settled. User report · checked Nov 6, 2026; this is not our test or a claim that a fix shipped. Read the full evidence review.
