Use Trader Entry to check TSLA's opening-range setup with completed five-minute bars. Show the range high, latest completed bar, New York time, and whether the setup is WAITING, TRIGGERED or EXPIRED. If the market or data cannot support a check, explain why. Do not treat a still-forming bar as a trigger or place an order.A price touch during an unfinished bar does not count as a confirmed trigger. Ask which setup to use if it has not been supplied.
Example Claude response
Illustrative · based on the source project's dated example
Oct 19, 2026 · 10:15 a.m. New York time
TRIGGERED · TSLA · historical example
Opening range: $354.47–$362.18.
The 10:10 five-minute bar closed at 10:15 a.m. at $364.18, 0.55% above the range high.
No order was placed.
WAITING means completed bars have not met the rule; TRIGGERED means the rule fired at the stated time; EXPIRED means the permitted entry window ended. This example was WAITING at 10:12, then TRIGGERED at 10:15.

| Field | Explanation |
|---|---|
The setup | Opening range or a level supplied for the ticker. |
Completed bars | A one- or five-minute close beyond the trigger level, not a price touch mid-bar. |
The state | WAITING, TRIGGERED or EXPIRED, with the relevant time and price. |
The handoff | A confirmed entry can become an input for an exit plan. |
The source Entry rules cover long entries. A volume filter can change trigger timing; this historical example does not establish results under that filter.

What the result can confirm
Whether the specified rule fired on the completed bars available at the reported time.
What it cannot confirm
That the current quote is still at the trigger price, the trade is suitable or shares were bought.
Yahoo intraday bars can lag, and a trigger may have expired by the time you read it. A historical TRIGGERED state is not a present trade instruction.
