Trader Alerts Skill for Claude

Keep track of planned stop, target and time levels without treating a reminder as an order.

Install Day Trader Skill

Day Trader Skill is the author's GitHub project, not a skill preinstalled in Claude. This command opens its third-party plugin installation in Claude Code.

/plugin install day-trader-skill --marketplace https://github.com/Jakeschincariol/day-trader-skill.git

Confirm the GitHub source and installation scope in Claude Code. Installing the pack does not run Trader Alerts.

Open /plugin > Installed, or type / and look for /day-trader-skill:trader-alerts.

Use with Claude

Copy and send after installation

Use Trader Alerts to create stop, target and flat-by reminders from my saved paper-trade plan. Show each rule and its New York time. Tell me how to check the reminders again, and when you last checked them. If quote data is unavailable, say so. Do not claim that a reminder sells a position or that checks run continuously.

Creating reminder rules and checking them later are separate actions. Missing plans require a question. This website does not run checks or send browser notifications.

Example Claude response

Illustrative · based on the source project's dated example

Oct 19, 2026 · historical TSLA plan

Flat-by reminder · historical example
3:55 p.m. New York time: the flat-by rule fired.
If TSLA is still open, review a closing ticket through Trader Broker.
This reminder did not sell shares.

The same plan includes a $358.32 stop and $370.04 target. A historical check at 10:53 used a 10:52 quote of $366.48 with no price rule fired. Neither is a current quote. Early-close dates have different timing.

What it watches

FieldExplanation

Price levels

Above, below, stop or target levels for a selected ticker.

Plan reminders

Stop, target and flat-by rules drawn from a saved plan.

Market clock

New York market hours, opening bell and early-close timing.

Check state

When a rule was checked, which quote was used and whether it rang already.

A fired rule is recorded to avoid duplicate reminders. A rule not firing at one check does not prove price never touched it between checks. Read quote time and check time together.

Limits & sources

What the result can confirm

Whether a rule fired at a recorded check using the available quote or clock.

What it cannot confirm

Continuous monitoring, an exact price touch between checks or an order fill.

Free quotes can lag or fail. Price reminders are not protective stop orders, continuous monitoring or automatic exits.
